Hay party people! Here are my travel photos and stories from my adventures around the world.
I went here first in November of 2020. It was my first time leaving the United States, a very thrilling experience to finally use my passport and see life outside of the American bubble.
My second international trip. I got a cheap flight from Miami to Medellin because I heard it was a growing green city that is leaving it's dark reputation from the '90s behind it. Lots of cheap (if you get paid in USD) vegan resturantes in "El Poblado." This trip was also my first time in a hostel. I stayed at this funky place called " The Purple Monkey" with various art murals of the monkey in various situations. I'll never forget when someone said one of the pictures looked like the monkey looking at c0rn on his laptop with a stupid happy smile.
First Time in Europe thanks to TAP Air Portugal having a cheap flight for my spring break.
Stayed in a hostel in Madrid. Lots of the people there seemed to be very businessy. It was cold af cuz I only had a hoodie and it was 0C walking around at night in February. The fucking churros con chocolate were heavenly though. Went to Barcelona instead of Morocco cuz I missed my flight. Was bummed about that for a long time. Barcelona is a super comfortable modern cosmpopolitan city though.
Crazy road trip with friends
Family trip to Cancun
Oi, mate! Bloody good day, innit?
Studied in Salamanca for a Spanish language course abroad.
FINALLY MADE IT TO MOROCCO after being mad at myself for missing that flight over a year ago. First time in Africa and I spent nearly 2 weeks here.
Was only briefly running through this country on high speed rain, but I spent 11 hours in Paris then a few more in some random town called Thionville both on train "layovers". I slept in the woods in Paris cuz it was during the Olympics and I didn't even want to LOOK at hotel prices. Ate a baguette under the Eiffel Tower tho :p
A funky unique microstate in between Belgium, France, and Germany. I met a cool punk on the bus there. He was looking to get cheaper booze and cigarettes to take back home to Belgium. We yapped on the bus for the whole ride and he gave me a cool rock that I still have to this day :D
First time in a former USSR country. Prague is a magical city that I hope to return to one day.
